Wilton Road is designed and built by Veton Alimi, a second generation craftsman who creates unique, artisanal spaces with integrity and character. The alluringly dark facade is inspired by Shou-sugi-ban, the charred cedar used in Japanese architecture and fancied by renowned designers worldwide for its elegant simplicity. Tucked behind a native stone wall the home will be softly obscured by a screen of emerald hued arborvitae that neatly frame the property. The exterior elements are comprised of natural cedar shingles and rough hewn planks, complemented by a standing seam metal roof, pebble gray windows, and a stunning eight foot wide steel and glass front door. The thoughtful design of the interior combines modern elements with natural textures to create a warm, organic space. The result is a timeless sanctuary that's rich in style and enjoyable to live in. The zen-like landscape design surrounds the house with beds of tumbled gray stones, native grasses and specimen trees.
