Virginia opened her first RE/MAX franchise in Southport in 1991, creating a uniquely collaborative brokerage culture. She sought out like-minded individuals who wanted an opportunity to be independent, yet have the support and strength of a powerful national brand. For nearly three decades, RE/MAX Heritage survived and thrived through bull and bear markets. Eventually, Virginia would own and operate three RE/MAX franchises in Southport, Westport, and Greenwich.
Today, having sold her franchise to people who have honored and continued her legacy, Virginia gets to do what she loves best - work alongside her daughter Carrie Klein Perkins. In the last 30+ years, Virginia and Carrie have had the remarkable privilege of representing nearly one thousand clients. The duo combines their unique energy and diverse skill sets to form a well-rounded, highly experienced unit with more than $500 million in lifetime sales. They are consistently ranked among the top-performing luxury teams in Connecticut.
Working tirelessly for her clients continues to excite and fulfill Virginia every day. Clients lucky enough to have her representing them will find her efficient, kind, and unforgettable. This lively woman is rarely seen out and about without her adorable Great Dane, LuluBelle (who also loves to show houses). Virginia’s passions include spending time with her daughter Carrie and her granddaughter Halie, books by David Hawkins and Dr. Joe Dispenza, rearranging other people’s furniture, and a great piece of the pie.
